a self love fest
I love my feet because they are strong and they support me and take me anywhere and everywhere. They are stable and help me to feel grounded. I love my legs because they are also strong and stable and give me freedom. I love my belly because it could be anything...it could be rock hard with abs of steel or it could be a vessel to grow another human being. Wow. My belly is not either but I still love my belly. My chest is sensuous and makes me feel womanly. I am grateful everyday that I am healthy and have not had to endure the agony of breast cancer. I love my neck and shoulders because they are sunkissed and decorated with beauty marks in all the right places. I am learning to love my full cheeks...they remind me of my father's side of the family and they represent happiness, health and prosperity in my mind. I love my lips because they are full and my teeth because they are pearly. I love my nose because it is a perfect blend of my mom's and my dad's nose and it is a strong nose. I love my eyes because they are almond shaped and can be blue or green, depending on my choice in clothes. I love my eyelashes; they are the type that are long and hit my sunglasses when I blink; they also hold just the right amount of water when I come out of the pool to look pure and fresh. I love my hair because I have started wearing it natural and the long golden waves and a few tight ringlets around my neck and face remind me of myself when I was younger.
I have started to make new agreements and get rid of old ones. This feels good. My wish today is for all women, young and old, to be able to write, think, paint or draw a self love fest.
